Mushroom Asparagus Pasta

Today my sister got married. While we were waiting around before lunch to get ready, I made this amazing pasta recipe for our lunch. This recipe is SO easy and SO good! We both absolutely loved it. I’m not a huge fan of asparagus.. But it was delicious in this recipe. Hope you enjoy, and if you give it a try, let me know what you thought about it too! 🙂

  • 1/2 Ib of asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 4 ounces of mushrooms, quartered or thickly sliced
  • 8 ounces of pasta
  • 4 ounces of bacon or pancetta, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly shredded parmesan
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of basil
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme

  • Cook pasta as directed on box intructions.
  • While the pasta is cooking, layer the asparagus and mushrooms on a sheet pan, toss with some olive oil and generous amount of salt and pepper
  • Roast the veggies at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes or until soft
  • When the veggies and pasta are done, bring your heavy cream or milk to a simmer in a large skillet
  • Add the parmesan cheese and spices, mix well until the sauce begins to thicken
